Why are sodium carbonate soap cleaners hard to get?
It looks as though these cleansers are far and few between in America for a few reasons. As it turns out, a soap of this strength is not easily obtained in the US. To get certain stains and dirt from clothes, a product of this strength is needed. So how can one get soapy solution?
Cleaner ways to make a soap stick together
When the sodium salt is used to create a cleaner like this it is very important that the carbonate used is of the same quality. With ultra hydrated sodium ions the resulting carbon is not going to bound as well as it can. Something like this can be found in a kids chemistry set. The factory makes the chemicals weaker by inserting H20 molecules into the molecules, this is the process called hydration. This lack of bounding makes the soap weak, and thus unstable and very basic. Soaps are generally alkaline, but when washing various products, its important to keep them not too imbalanced.
NAC04 is the symbol for this.
So how can a soap become something used for more then suds. Well if one looks at the general idea behind a soap, joining these familiar sounding words can make one this it’s a solution, when its really not.

"It is true that inflation is a tax on the rich but if the purchasing power of their wealth can only be preserved by condemning hundreds of thousands of innocents to unemployment and poverty, the choice has to be made on moral grounds." - Paul Hellyer
